Your 2018 Wish List

Postby Hum » Thu Dec 28, 2017 3:23 pm

What are you looking forward to the most in 2018? And what would you like to see?

For me it's the Star Wars X-Wing, can't wait to start that, it's going to be huge.

My wish list would have to be the Hogwarts Train from Harry Potter. I've never done a train before, and I remember someone on here suggesting that, I thought it was a great idea.
Or we need KITT from Knight Rider. That would be an awesome build with the lighting.

I have lots of stuff on the go so I probably won't be picking up a new partwork.

I would like to see more 1/200 ships, Scharnhorst, Gneisenau, Prinz Eugen.

The only one I would start though is the La Ferrari if it made it to our shores. Sadly though, Hachette who seem to be distributing it internationally seem to have lost the plot here in the UK with partworks. If it appears in France then I will start getting it from the usual source!

Wouldn't mind the Tirpitz though!

Lego Partwork where it's a totally exclusive for the partwork, that will never be sold in shops, something like a large Buckingham Palace with some internal detail and the balcony full of figures, trooping the colour on the parade ground.

I would really love to see a new RC gas engine F1 model with cooperation with Kyosho, even more improved than the previous RB7. Probably the very successful Petronas-Mercedes 2015 or 2016 cars as a theme.

I would also like to see a biomimetic robot partwork, too bad Eaglemoss cancelled Miro partwork in the past!

A very unique idea! They never issued a partwork like this!

Re: Your 2018 Wish List LAMBORGHINI ESPADA

Postby MODENAMAN » Fri Dec 29, 2017 6:20 pm

For me it would be the Lamborghini Espada in 1/8 - an iconic supercar & 4 seat grand tourer . Issued in the UK first of course !

Also for the Mini to be issued in 1/8 after a false start, and La Ferrari to be sold in the UK !!!!

Exactly, think it would prove popular and spreading the cost would mean less of a hit unlike the new Star Wars Falcon, sadly it was well beyond my pocket and into a galaxy far far away!

My wish would be for Hachette to offer kits from across Europe in the uk, much in the same way as DeAg will now do with Altaya

Re: Your 2018 Wish List - Miura

Postby MODENAMAN » Fri Jan 05, 2018 1:58 pm

For info a Lamborghini Miura 1/8 Kit was available, and excellent it was , but like many skilled craftsmen and model makers the guy was not a businessman & failed to offer a reliable service and the models seem to have vanished. the old website was https://modelrossi.jimdo.com/gallery-ki ... odelrossi/
I would stress that the models are no longer available, the new website referred to has now vanished, nice kits though.

It's probably just as well he's stopped trading. I recall reading post on the internet of people paying for but not getting their kits.
Cheers
