I did get that "Positive Living" email after the inital confirmation, but got a further email tonight:

Finally today I got to my email the... correct subscription confirmation

Let's see when the test pack will be sent. Deagostini usually sends the first two test-run packs.

Anyone think this is a bit small?
I'm interested but I'd like it a bit bigger I think.

It is on the small side, shame it wasn't twice the size.

Hmm I haven't noticed this. 27 cm is way too small for a model like this...

How is the quality? The figure looks like a bit cheap on the picture.

The figure is ok but could have been a lot better in my opinion, Its similar to the Neca 5 inch figures in hard rubber.

I noticed the figure doesn't have a USA flag on the left shoulder and no NASA insignia on the chest

In the picture of the completed model on the website, the USA flag on the left shoulder is present, so I assume this is supplied as a sticker or transfer in a later issue.

I'm tempted by this one, as I remember watching the moon landings on the (B&W) TV at school, but rather put off by the finish. On the website it looks like what it is - pre-coloured plastic. The descent stage in particular looks awful, with what appears to be a rather poor representation of the gold foil. I covered my Airfix one with the foil wrapper of a Cadburys Bourneville chocolate bar, which I think looks a lot more realistic.

Here's an oddity. After subscribing on line to the test back in September, I didn't get any issues in the post - until today

Issue 5 arrived, along with a letter saying Issue 1-4 were out of stock, and that it was the end of the test, not publishing anymore for the time being, etc

Still, no credit card charges at least

Same here!!! I received today only issue 5 free of charge. Too bad the first 4 issues are out for stock, despite I subscribed to this from the first day, the earliest possible.

I think it is the first time we got the fifth issue during a test release. Test releases always included only the issues 1,2,3 and 4.

Maybe they want to send at least one issue to the subscribers so they are more inclined to subscribe if the do a national release?

Probably yes.

Regading the issue, doesn't look bad, but it gives me a feeling that the partwork is in an early stage of development and many parts and the magazine content will improve in quality if they achieve a full release. That's my opinion from the little content I examined, but I can't tell anything for sure from a single issue with not so many important parts (the first issues have more important parts).

Does anyone received the full test pack do give us a more extended review?

As it happens, I have numbers 1, 2 and 4 on eBay. Number 5 will go on when I manage to find it!

I received issues 1-5 yesterday in the post. I subscribed online in October and I have been pestering them via phone and email for updates. They claimed they had a manufacturing delay but that it was being sorted and to expect a delivery in the new year, then randomly yesterday I received issues 1-5 and the letter saying that due to unforeseen circumstances, they have needed to halt production but will send me issue 6 free of charge once the production is back up and running. Why they couldn’t just say in the letter that it was a test run is beyond me.

I thought perhaps that the reason I received issues 1-4 when others here say there were told they were out of stock was because I received newly printed copies but this is not the case as they contain inserts with the original October release dates for the new few issues. I have received 2 contradictory emails from DeAgostini, one saying that they will know in January if the test run will go live and another that says that they are working on the full series kit now.

I will post a picture of my 5 issues if it is on interest to anyone.
