Looking great Mike :)

Are the frames glued in place yet or are they just dry fitted?
So many models, so little time!

To be congratulated on the completion of a set of hull? How long is the body of the ship? (Without protruding parts rig)

Hi Sergie
At the moment the size of Victory bow to stern is 720mm that includes stern cabin supports.
When the ship is finished with mast and rigging it will measure
LENGTH 1250mm
HEIGHT 850mm
BEAM 450mm :D :D

Hi guy's
Week 15 got the correct parts for the stern cabin supports, but no instruction how to fit them. Though it's pretty clear where they go.
There is a 4 page part in the mag called Build it your way
About different stage's of the build
The cutaway side, Planking, Painting, Mast and Spares, Rigging ect. Deck's coming in parts 16 and 17, hopefully I can glue everything up then
and start the planking :D

Look stunning so far Mike. Now I can see the importance of the jig, especially in the last photo.

I've got a block of wood which I super glue 80 grit emery paper to. That works well for these sorts of jobs

Thats a good idea Mark, I suppose I could use the sanding tool supplied with the Bismarck
that was quite a neat sanding block.

Hi Eric
Planking the Victory will be a bit more difficult than the Bismarck. Iv'e got a decent plank bender now so bending the tight curves should'nt be
a prob ( I HOPE )
I think about 2/3 weeks and we will be planking can't wait. Not looking forward's to cutting out 100 gun ports though
:D :D :D
