Fokker Dr 1

Hi All,

I am new to the partworks facet of model building having spent all my time in the hobby with plastic kits. In starting the Lancaster, I noticed a past series was the Fokker Dr 1. I know this is a long shot with the release being a long time ago but if anyone has the full series available for purchase I would be very interested. Many thanks for your time.

oooo i may be able to help

Many years ago I brought a part built full set of a mate - i set about renovating it - and it looks a hell of a lot better. Therss stil a lot to be done. Its a bout half built and with loads of bits still in bags etc...

Now where as it is not a perfect model- as the previous owner got over excited with the glue and the tail fin needs stripping down - you can see I had started the process. And maybe on the wings some steaming and removal and re-stocking of some parts would pay dividends.

I think with a lot of work it could turn out really well. Also got a pristine set of magazines to go with it.

Hi Chill,

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. With the amount of hunting I've been doing I was stoked to see your post. I don't think I'll be able to find any other unbuilt kit so what would it take to get you to part with these peices?

Regards,

Ryan

Yes its slighlty easier as this kit weighs a ton with all the metal...ill have to weigh it all and see what the cost is...

I have got one.
Engine halves have been joined, and a bag full of parts accounted for due to split bags.
Unfortunately there are 3 elevator ribs and the brass rod for the same are missing along with one booklet, but is 99 percent complete.
It is all in a box,and believe me its heavy.
I am open to a sensible offer if your interested.
