The first floatplane

I did have a slight mishap, in that the pilots seat went pinging off never to be found, it was only about 2mm high.

It has the catapult carriage attached

was very fiddly

I’ll be interested to watch this model taking shape mate, I’m intrigued as to how it’s detailing compares with the original version we built a few years ago!

the hull is now taking shape, these three parts weigh in at nearly 250g so its going to be a heavy beast

you get another hull piece 2 capstans and some anchor openings

Hi, I'm also building this one having given up on the previous model. I still have the plans which will be very useful. I may be mistaken but the guns appear to function in reverse when tested in as much that they move forward before recoiling back to their original position, maybe this will be corrected when operating under Radio control but somehow judging by the construction I don't think so, unless of course that is how the original full size guns worked.
