What’s my next project, over to you

Postby Mustang » Tue Aug 13, 2019 7:27 pm

So as I’m still building two wooden kits which take time for the glue to set, I’m thinking of starting another kit but which one :angry-banghead:

So which would you like to see....

Hasegawa AH-64 with extras 1/48
Matchbox Puma which I might do some scratch building on 1/32
Hasegawa F-14 Tomcat with extras 1/48
Kittyhawk Jaguar GR1 with extras 1/48

Not says what the extras are until I start a build as they all have loads :shhh:

The Puma sounds like a good one to watch.
Cheers

:o :o wow

I'm surprised the puma has taken the lead, it's a really old kit 1980's I believe, and as so there's no after markets bits for it plus there's not a lot in the 1/32 scale that I can rip apart for it :( .

The others have so many after market bits.

Yes, the Matchbox Puma is tearing it up, I voted the Jaguar - there's an old one in the fire fighting training area in Aberdeen airport - always notice it when landing north to south...still has the lo-vis roundels ....

So as the SA330 has taken most of the votes, I've started to get some bits.

I'll be vamping up the cockpit as its just basic and I mean basic, the engines will be detailed along with the gear box and the surrounding area. The main rotas will be in the stowed postion and the main interior will have some detail possible added.

The others, well this is what they had :shhh:

F14 - cockpit and externals, avionics bays, new engine exhausts, Top Gun decals.
AH-64 - engine bay, new cockpit, avionics bays.
Jaguar - wheel bays, speed brakes, cockpit, avionics, gun bay.

Once I've got the bits I've ordered I'll start a diary.
