Hi Roy,
Nice "pics" mate, it gives me a "pain in the wallet" thinking what they cost to run in this country :o
Cheers Kim.

Some of the chaps there own more than one car and I know at least one chap (no names or cars mentioned) that owns 8 cars, some of which are very nice sports cars :o

He must either have loads of money or a huge mortgage  ;)

I really enjoyed your pics royjess. So many cracking cars in such wonderful condition. Couldn`t pick out a favourite, liked them all. :D
It was also a great trip down memory lane. We all used to go on a fortnights holiday just outside GT Yarmouth. We would visit GY almost every evening for the amusement arcades pier, shops & restaurants. 8-)
Happy days.:angelic-sunshine:

Thanks Mike

Jess will divorce me if I displayed my car there :o :laughing-rolling: Despite myself being a member of the East Coast Pirates, and the cars displaying a notice in the cars not to touch the cars, people still like to touch the cars, they can get scratched as people zips and buckles on their clothes/bags as they lean against the cars. Plenty of unruly kids with lazy parenting.

Plus we never stay there, we will spend the rest of the evening in the model village for the illumination and then we get a good space to watch the fireworks

We love Yarmouth, I've been visiting there since a little baby and very much remember going on the snail ride (both at Joy Land and the pleasure beach) ever since far back as I can remember. Plenty of things to do there and it is all very much wheelchair friendly there. Actually it was Yarmouth that Jess and I went to on our first date :)

Thanks for posting these Roy, I really enjoyed looking through them.

It's the sort of meet I'd like to have a look around and take part in. I'm on the other side of the country but I do have a local car meet that I attend, which has started within the last couple of years at Haynes Motor Museum. They have a breakfast club that runs on the first Sunday of every month. If anyone on here is local, it's worth checking out.

More great pics Roy,
Beleave it or not my dads first car was a "ford pop" like RAS 401 I can still remember the times my dad had to start it with the hand crank  it was light blue and I can still remember my first ride in it ! in the trade It's nick name was the "sit up and beg" because of the drivers posture whilst driving :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling: ;)

Awesome pics, Roy - especially the older Yank stuff...- I just missed this and the first GTY air show.(I went home to Filby, for a fortnight's holiday. 6 miles inland from GTY) My wife was born in Gorelston/raised in Caister - I will have to try to catch the pirates next year :D
