I've got a lot of nice shiney parts now :D I'll post some photos, or possibly do a proper web site. Anyway, here's a couple of tips for anybody building the series.
Put a tiny smear of Vaseline on the screws, or in the screw holes, and that will make it a lot easier to drive in the screws.
Tip 2. Use a cocktail stick and apply super glue very sparingly. It tends to disolve the finish. (Anybody got a spare issue 1  )
Cheers

I'm suprised that Mark hasn't added "Super Glue" and "SG" etc to the list of banned words yet  :laughing-rolling:

In fairness they should be. Swear words are used in everyday situations and with most people in moderation. There are a few people that swear every 2nd word and so get swearing a bad name. SG is used in moderation for lots of uses, but there is 1 who abuses the SG and so gives SG the bad press. :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

I've decided to publish a full blown web site to dairy my build. The address is

http://www.mclaren.partworkmodels.co.uk/index.html

Tell your friends, tell your neighbours, tell the whole world

It's complete up to issue 14 at the moment. More updates to follow over the next week or so.
Cheers

True, nothing very challenging at all. It probably takes me longer to write the web site than it does put the parts together............

I've completed the model up to part 25 now. It's all going very smoothly, apart from a self inflicted setback in issue 1

Stop press ! I've found 2 parts that don't go together without a bit of fettling in issue 23 !
