Here is one picture that I have just taken.

Please excuse the room and decor, it is my model room that I had to set up this weekend because my other half is apparently sick of my "sh*t" all over the house :laughing-rolling: Although, Every week she will "allow me" to put one of them in display in my main room on my little spinning mirror plate thing :laughing-rolling:

A small selection of my models all 1/8 scale, a few Db5s there for modification, if you spot anything you want more pics of, please let me know and I can take some for you. hopefully next weekend I can redecorate the room and set up shelving on the opposite side of the room too, then add my modeling desk, and sort the parts out!

I am struggling to get the full image to fit as a forum post, so link is here :

Thanks,
When I have set up the other shelves and redecorated the room I will add the rest of my collection.

I plan on building a “fake frame” around the front of the shelving unit in wood with removable Perspex fronts.
Paint or mirror the bottom of each shelf and attach some LEDS on the hidden topside

I didn't really take any good photos of the 1/5 Ferrari 250 GTO (original RAE prototype) but here is one for your viewing pleasure, as it takes LIGHTYEARS to sort pictures out on this forum I will post a few more when I have time, in the picture its next to my Javan Smith Mercedes.... the Mercedes is 1/8 Scale.. as you can see the Ferrari is HUGE!

The cars look fabulous!!

For pictures, I upload to Flickr, then share them using the BBCode, 800x600 size. Might be worth making sure the Geotagging is switched off/hidden. It seems to be on by default, but easily turned off in the Flickr account settings.
Cheers

Picked this up the other day :D

1/8 Aston Martin DBR9 Lemans (2008) by AMALGAM
This is a bespoke version 1 of 1, originally made custom for the Aston Martin Race Team Sponsor (intercontinental tyres)

Again, pictures poor sizing, click on the link opens it in full : http://tinypic.com/r/qs5yip/9

If you want more photos please ask, same goes for photos of any of my other models, it's nice to share ;)

Some more exciting news, I'm having a 1/8 Bugatti Type 57 SC (ralph laurens car) custom made, will be ready in a few months, its a full design from the ground up, metal chassis and parts, wood where there should be wood, dash etc, Body is resin as I was quoted £8000 just for the metal shell  couldn't justify that for the shell alone!

It will be a full replica, not a curbside, openable doors and engine, design is based on the CMC 1/18 bugatti Type 57, so the same build quality just larger

I've swapped the Javan Smith for the Sl in the "model hole" the only place my other half will let me display my models to anyone that comes in the house.. limited to one on display unless it's hidden away in one of my two hobby rooms, which she physically locks when people are around because they look a mess! :laughing-rolling:

Pictures of the 1/8 Mercedes sl300 by eaglemoss, if you want more pictures do ask :) I am surprised nobody has asked for more pictures of the 1/8 Amalgam Aston Martin DBR9!
