never mind -
one of the funny guys from the wonderland I am...

got another off  bay -
it's been built and neglected, partly disassembled and some parts are missing -
but a perfect base for a conversion -
either a racing e or a roadster
or maybe for paul to practice on it

...and dare I not to say, the price was 30 $...

Hi Astons,
That was a good price, but how many parts are missing?
Also will you use your existing one to make replacement resin parts for it?

as far as I can see the bumpers are missing,
maybe also the rear lamps -
small parts should be determined once the kit arrived here...

as I will soon have a complete kit here,
I'll be able to replicate any part necessary -
I can cast the bumpers in metal and have them chromed,
also I'd rather go for re-casting the suspension parts in metal -
for strength purposes I might do that on the complete kit as well -
so I'd be able to supply these parts to anyone interested -
also this way I could rebuild the suspension to working conditions

So it'll be better than the original then !

http://www.gaterosplating.co.uk/Replica ... ng-Kit.php

You could use something like this for Chrome plating, or you could send it to a specialist plating outfit. However, I'm sure Astons has got something better up his sleeve.

I'm keen to see the recasting of parts in metal. Do you still use a silicone rubber casting compound ?
Cheers
