More work on the Jag! Steering wheel made from spare Aston Martin parts! Horn switch works as Ive tested it! Might be able to use steering mechanism to steer front wheels but have yet to work out how yet!

Rear section fitted with thin rubber and and leather! Chrome lugage slide strips actualy made from metal rod and fitted into drilled holes! Thicker chrome strip is adapted spare Pocher Rolls Royce radiator grill!

Have now cut out the rear door! It took quite a time but I had an idea to heat a scalple knife with a soldering iron! It worked! Mind you you have to be careful not to apply to much heat! Infact it worked so well you can hardly see the cut marks!

Holding door open! Have got to work out fitting a hinge! Have seen pics of real E Types (thanks to baby astons)and its quite big! Should hopefully not be to difficult to produce! Now have a chance to paint the main body parts British Racing Green!

I haven't cut the door using heat but mine got out just as well - in fact a series of doors as i did the whole mess for all of my coupe's...

Hi baby astons! Glad your rear hatches were easier than mine! :roll: What did you make the hinges from or haven't you done any yet? Have you any photo's of your rear ends! Oo er misses! :lol: I mean rear hatches?

Hi Bubblewrap! I havent any pistons or other bits but I have got 14 rockers with springs and center rods if your interested! Here's a pic of the bits! I'll send them to you to swap for some other 1/8th bits youv'e got spare! I'll leave it up to you to decide what bits!

pictures of the hatch story should be on my e-type thread, I haven't yet made the hinges but they'll be brass rod material bent to proper configuration...
