Grant's Late entry!

Postby GrantJ » Mon Jan 24, 2011 7:28 pm

I fancied this kit when it first came out and now i have an excuse to build one!

I will do my very best to get it finished in time!

I also chose the Spitfire Mk1

Image

The parts inside are very small especially after having built 1/32 aircraft and larger for the last few years :)

Image

I started off by giving the interior parts a coat of paint as per instructions

Image

Once they where dry i added the detail painting and then gave the bits a wash of dark colour and a drybrush of a lighter shade

Thats enough sitting at the computer b ack to the workbench if this baby has to be finished by the 30th

This is an amazing little kit - the amount of detail in the cockpit is really good.

Have added a few masking tape seatbelts just for fun and this is how the cockpit looks so far!

Well thats the basic building done and the underside painted.

I have shaded the colour slightly and given the wing on the LHS of the photo a panel line wash - now for the other wing :)
