Hi mate,

Miskin models sold their clamps as packs of 10 for £9.99. So for 15 and as they have been used once....... lets say £12 + a little bit for P&P. Is that a Deal?

You can send money either by cheque or using Paypal, My E-mail address is correct. I'm not sure why you had problems?
I shall PM you my email again
If you send a Cheque, I shall PM you my address
Please be aware that if you send money Via cheque I will not dispatch goods until I recieve it.

PM me your address so I know where to send the goods

Tom
You should delete your last post, after all you don't know who may read it, and you could get a lot of unwanted mail :naughty:

Hey guys,

tom have you got anymore of them clamps left or have you got any idea of where i can get some off my own as there are no decent model shop's round here that deal with wooden ships.

Many Thanks

Hi Antony,

I doubt you can buy any more of the plastic ones now as i think miskin models are history. I dont have any more to sell but you can buy some all metal ones from the USA at Micro Mark.
Cheers,
Tom.

Hi antony,

I don't know if you have the clamps yet or if you have tried them? but I've found that with mine they needed a quick file down of the mould lines on the end of the shank just before the screw comes out. this is formed by the gaps in the mould when the metal is poured in. this stops the shank rotating in the hole in the "foot" (the bit that rests on the plank)

Not sure if yours has the same problem?
Hope this helps,

Tom

Tom.

Hellooooooo,

I think it's time for me to show what a hash I'm making of my hood

Here's a few photo's of my work,

Image

I had a small problem with the two side walls 78 and 79 as in they were about 3mm too short (you can see the gap just where it joins the rear superstructure sub assembly) I could easily fill the gap with a piece of spare fret but I decide to ignore it as it will be covered up by the brass bulkheads which should go here. (if it's anything like the Bismarck build)
If however I'm wrong (It's been known to happen occasionally   ) I can easilly correct it.
Cheers,
Tom.
