I was hoping to build the new tooling Lightning but couldn't find one in the shops near where i live  so I decided to try the Tornado.
The kit comes with two brushes and six pots of paint

Not sure yet Paul  maybe some wires or plumbing around the wheels
Looking over the parts they are covered in flash and some seem lines, you can also see marks on the top sides of the wings from the push rods.

Hi Casp,

It certainly looks a lot cleaner than the Beetle which is new tooling, and also some of your previous Xmas Comp entries, so I'm sure you'll be fine :D

Not many parts to clean up so it should be fun Paul :)
the pilots are small and the cockpit has very little detail. I will do a pic with an OXO cube Paul :)

I've set your build diary alight

I see you like a challenge with an old tooling. I feel almost guilty having a kit that actually fits together well :laughing-rolling: :liar:  :liar:
Cheers

Sugar, Sugar Sugar !!!!

The pic makes you think that you can detail the pilots well, but the sense of scale suggests otherwise

Hi Casp,

You know that in an earlier post I mentioned the colour scheme, that was as I believe that in the first gulf war they were painted pink, though I'm not 100% on that :)
